Alongside our joint venture partner, Sanderson International (Australia), we served as one of the leading theming contractors for this project. Our combined team crossed a variety of disciplines, including civil engineering, MEP, and artistic directors, who all collaborated closely to achieve project targets and milestones. We established a dedicated logistic center, as well as an off-site factory, to manage the specialized equipment and large volume of theming works and artistic input to the high standards required by the client. With three art directors from different organizations, we efficiently handled changes and modifications that occurred almost hourly.
With such a large and dynamic project, coordination between all contractors was a natural challenge. By incorporating BIM modelling, we supported collaboration and communication, which helped facilitate the clearance of areas for our finishing works. As an artistic project, change orders could be extreme, requiring around-the-clock attention to detail to ensure we met the client’s requirements in a timely and professional manner.
